U.S.A. all the way!

Unfortunately I was not able to go to the Zoo today and I will have to save my fish for later. However, I did make chocolate chip cookies and watched the women's semi-finals for the World Cup. It was U.S.A. versus France and yes, U.S.A. did win! And it was a great win. In case you didn't get the chance to watch U.S.A. won the game 3-1. All three goals were awesome and now they're off to the championship! Yesterday I watched the women's quarter-final game, U.S.A. versus Brazil (the game was actually on Sunday but I had to work so I recorded it). That game was also AMAZING. I wish I could go into more detail about both games but I'm so excited I don't even know where to start. All I can say is those girls have some heart.They want it bad and I'm sure they will have the same energy this coming Sunday when they will play either Japan or Sweden. I'm hoping it will be Sweden since they beat U.S.A. earlier in the tournament. I love watching a come back. Anyways during both of these games I made some cookies. Unfortunately my first batch was disgusting. I even posted a sign saying WARNING: THESE ARE DISGUSTING! The problem was, instead of putting 2 and 1/4 of flour I put 4 and 1/4 of flour.... Yeah they weren't the best cookies ever. Though my dad did enjoy them. So today I made sure I did everything correctly and BAM! They were perfect. So, yes, today has been a great day. I might even go to the pool later. Who knows! But whatever I do I'll be in a great mood. Lovely.

A day trip to the Zoo

Today, hopefully, I will be going to the Zoo. I don't think I have been to the Zoo since I was at least 10. So you're probably wondering, why has she posted this picture? And what is this picture? Well what I really wanted you to get out of this picture is the fish. No not the big yellow fish, but the shiny fish on the pigs tail. And guess what that is. It's a ring! I bought it yesterday at a store called Plato's Closet--where i work. It was $4.99 which I think is a pretty good price. I bought it because you have to have an animal accessory for the Zoo! I will definitely be posting pictures later! I'm hoping to see a money, giraffe, penguin (do they have those at Zoo's), bird and so much more! Peace out girl scouts!
